When the control of the colors is essential, like for hollow products, the composition of the atmosphere is essential.
On this distance, some additives are added to the melting copper that is running in the junction spout.
On this distance, the copper must absolutely maintain its temperature and the atmosphere that is in contact with it must keep the metallurgical characteristics of copper and preserve it, as well as the additives, from any oxidation.
FIB has developed a combustion technology that allows the perfect control of this atmosphere in the spout and has equipped several copper casting units with its combustion material. Indeed, the CONSTAN mixer is ensuring, for several burners at the same time, a constancy of the atmosphere in the spout, whatever the speed of the burners.
