The
patenting process is probably one of the most critical process dedicated to
the wire productions. Indeed, dedicated to critical products like ropes, ACSR,
tire cord or bead wire, high carbon wires need to be perfectly processed. Indeed
the request to match with the high tensile strengths needs to control the homogeneity
of the structure allalong the patenting process.
Starting with the production of the furnace dedicated to the
first suspended bridge in Europe (Tancarville) up to the units producing cables
for the sonars of the US Submarines, FIB has developed a unique technology assuming
a perfect control of the process for the achieving of the highest quality requested
for high carbon wires.
Thanks to is unique combustion technology for the control of
the atmosphere during the austenitizing process up to the development of the
patenting fluidised bed (Ecoquench), FIB is the first leader in equipments for
the process of high carbon wires.
