Austenitizing process

Carried out under atmosphere, the austenitizing or annealing of wires in a tubes furnace is requesting some well-designed equipments.

Indeed, the tubes that have to resist to high temperatures must be heated homogeneously and their lifetime must be as long as possible.

Without casting doubt over the utility of a degreasing of the wires before the treatment in the furnace in order to avoid any blocking of the tubes, the heating mode of these tubes is remaining a crucial point in the design of the furnace as well as the easiness of their replacement.

With an original solution of gas heating that is giving you the possibility to have an equipment with relatively low functioning costs, FIB can offer you a heating solution with gas or electricity.

Advantages:

- Easy replacement of the tubes
- Great stability of the temperatures of the furnace
- Solutions for a gas or electrical heating
- Possible exploitation of gas as combustible means, which is less expensive than electricity regarding the exploitation costs
- Control of the dilatation of the tubes on big lengths (up to 14 m length)
- Option: protective gas mixer
- In the case of tubes furnaces for an exploitation in oil tempering: special junction in order to avoid the oxidation of the wires between the furnace and the oil tempering
