quenching without tempering is nothing !
The tempering requires indeed an extremely substantial temperature stability
otherwise could occur variations of mechanical characteristics.
In this field FIB offers a lead technology tested on numerous occasions with
an extremely precise temperature stability.
On the other side, operating our tested technology of diffusion fluidised bed,
we are convinced to obtain a technical solution for the producers whom would
like to avoid using lead.
A condition however to the use of this technology is the absence of residues
from the quenching liquid which could with the time block up the holes of the
fluidization tubes.
A precaution probably simple to be applied for the ones who do not want anymore
to use lead in their workshops !
Finally, for the thin wires, FIB is offering also a tempering technology in
electrically heated furnaces with tubes.
