As a consequence, the trend for considering the fluidised bed
as heating medium for the stress relieving is becoming very current.
FIB has carried out some validation tests of the process on
a fluidised bed of its fabrication that was in fact aimed at another application.
The experience has shown that the stress relieving operation
could be perfectly carried out in a fluidised bed.
Even if this technology still has not been applied in the industrial
field, FIB knows it can exploit its technology offered in diffusion fluidised
bed, a technology that has been used for a long time for this process.
