The
electrical muffle tubes furnaces, a “classical” product, are highly
appreciated by the industrial managers.
Their design simplicity must not make one forget that these
require exploitation criteria considered as particularly important for the users,
i.e.:
- Huge temperature stability
- Homogeneous heating of the tubes
- Significant lifetime of the heating elements
- Easy replacement of the tubes and resistances
All these criteria have led to the creation of two families
of electrically-heated tubes furnaces:
- The electrical furnaces with heating elements having bars
of silicon carbide
- The electrical furnaces with heating elements incorporated in the roof of
the furnace (furnace with retractable cover).
