tanks with heating cover still have a promising future.
The profile of these has been carefully studied and their "interlocked"
bricks allow the stability of the refractory materials during many years. FIB
is having installations based on this technology that have been in operation
for more than 25 years.
With a new design of covers in fibrous material equipped with a judicious system
of sliding doors, the accessibility inside the covers has strongly been improved.
This cover technology is allowing an easy cleaning of the zinc
oxides under the cover without having to modify the zinc level as it was the
case by the past.
With covers located on the side or at the center of the tank
for extremely wide wire fields, FIB is having a control on these tanks for dimensions
reaching 10 m length and 4 m width.
For customers who do not have gas at their disposal but work
with fuel this solution is the only one that can meet these heating mode requirements.
