High Carbon Wire Line | Smart Phosphate coating train
Back to overviewIntroduction
Technologies that need to be mobilized to be able to design a zinc phosphating bath (activator : nitrate/nitrite) compatible with environmental, management, surface quality state of all wires at the exit of the phosphating to allow a correct threading in downhill treatment restrains, are complex.
The SPCT gathers in its concept the precipitation control of the reaction's reactives with forming of a phosphate film that is perfectly homogenous to the entire diameters.
This conception of this type of unit allows to avoid the feed of precipitate on the wire surface at the exit of the phosphating bath which is dramatic for the ulterior wire drawing.
In addition, the evacuation of the precipitate can be carried out and still ensure a production continuity.
Finally, the particular heat up methodology allows to limit the crystallisation of these precipitates.
Your wins
- Homogenous phosphate deposit in a range going from 6 to 8 g/m²!
- Absence of inflection of the wire field
- Processing tray separated from the heating bath and the sedimentation bathes
- Access to the wire field thanks to motorized covers
- Closed bath thanks to removable covers (emission limitation of corrosive steam and thermal loss)
- Specific sedimentation bathes for the sludge
- Easy removal of the exchangers
- Anti-drag out system of the phosphate
- Triple rinsing in counter-flow to minimize the water consumption
Advantages
- Homogenous phosphate deposit allowing to thread in the toughest conditions
- Separation of the precipates to concentrate the sludge
- Bath cover to avoid the presence of corrosive steam in the building.
- Protection of your dies thanks to the absence of adherent sludge crystals on the wire.
- No production downtime during cleaning operation of the precipitates
- Precipitates concentrator
- Heating technology limiting the crystallisation of the precipitates around the exchangers
- Strong insulation to avoid the thermal losses.
- Control of the phosphoric acid to the rinsing section
- Easy access to the wires
- Comfort for the operator as far the working environment is concerned
- Maximization of the equipment utilization
