FIB Belgium holds her leader position in the field of thermal treatment lines designed for the wire field thanks to her unique combustion system.

Resulting from a development inside the company, the combustion system allows a continuous air gas mixer control zone of the furnace and this whatever the zone rate (in the frame of specific range). That system is appliable whatever the type of gas considered and going from one type of gas to another is very easy.

This air/gas ratio is chosen upstream of the burners ramps according  to the atmosphere that we wish to get in the furnace.

This air/gas mix is then brought through the combustion piping reaching each burners of the considered zone.

The big advantage of this system is to allow to have a settled composition of the fumes outgoing the burners and controlled in a larger range of zone control.

The system can also be coupled to a fume analyzer as soon as you wish a remote control on the atmosphere composition in the furnace (influence from one zone on another).

Should a burner stop, it will not disrupt the air/gas ratio on the whole line at all!

This combustion technique allows then to work with a protective atmosphere in direct contact with the product to be dealed with.

The heating in the surroundings of the furnace becomes convection. The abscence of flame allows to move the burners closer to the part that has to be heated and the convection allows an homogeneous and fast heating of complex shapes that are to be heated.

Adopted by the steel wire industry, this combustion technology is also transposed by furnace manufacturers in other fields.

The packaging glass field has morevoer adopted this technology for the forehearths as well as for crystal glassworks.

In addition, application in the copper fusion field or copper alloy, enamelling of bath tubs, cracking of gaseous toxic residues at the exit of fiber glass incinerators, baking of cakes in the food sector and ironworks furnaces are many applications where that technology has been adapted for its running flexibility.

The design of the corresponding combustion piping is particular and requires a basic training of the designer.

Corresponding to the requirements of the EN746-2:2010, the design of the combustion piping is normalized.

Our study team and our engineers are in position to accompany you as to what the training of the implementation of that technology is concerned and it will differentiate you in comparison to separate air/gas equipments.

One single air servomotor can control several burners on one same zone.

Several accessories (UV flame supervision cell, flame arrestor, injectors, burners) are added to the design of the piping.

Moreover, our team includes experts on CEN/TC 186 comity level regarding the european safety of the equipments heated with gas and experts on ISO/ TC 244 at the level of worldwide safety of the equipments heated with gas.
