In the frame specifically of the heating of forehearths, FIB has a unique combustion system that allows the tuning of the consistency of the air/gas ratio in the furnace in a very wide range of power.

Based on premixed technology, this type of combustion system allows an easy control of multiple-burners and of the atmosphere in the furnace.

Based on high velocity burners, this technology could be coupled as well with an automatic system - motorized mixer - that allows the tuning of the air/gas ratio per mixer according to an atmosphere composition in your furnace.

Consequently, the influence of the disturbance of one zone towards the composition of another zone is skipped.

Our team of thermal engineers dedicated to support your designers is at your service to optimize your combustion design.

In this frame FIB Belgium is member of the ISO/TC 244 working on gas safety standards as in the CEN/TC 186 European safety gas committees.

Stress test ovens for flat glass sheets have been designed as well.

Our job is to define, design and produce all lines in accordance to the productivity demands of the customer while assuring a continuous customer accompaniment but also thanks to our expertise in its progression during the years. Our job has inspired us for more than 75 years now in a field mingling the aspects of combustion control in contact with reactive materials (ferrous, non-ferrous, glass), as well as aspects of ergonomic running of the lines (minimization of the operators on the line, operator’s safety) and aspects related to an upgrading of existing equipment in correlation with technologic or environmental demands. That is why our line’s solutions are specific (completely designed and studied in our offices), consistent in their articulations and perfectly controlled in its execution as our intern workshop and our “FIB CERTIFIED” partners assure a complete realization of your line under our responsibility.

As far as the quality of the products coming out of our lines is concerned, our Brand is moreover considered by the final users of basic products as brand of first quality by the wire drawing market. FIB BELGIUM indeed can also certify its customers if the request is made. FIB BELGIUM has standing members at these committees as far as gas matters are concerned.
