Heating principle

The bogie is notched to allow the burnt gases from the burners, situated at the bottom of the furnace walls, to pass underneath the charge. They will transit towards the side wall of the furnace and will be re-directed towards the charge itself. Because the burnt gases velocity is high, the atmosphere passing through the charge is around 20 to 40 m/sec. Therefore a uniform and fast heating up is obtained.
